Wednesday 6th March is Ash Wednesday and the beginning of the season of Lent. Ashes will be blessed and distributed at the 10 AM mass in St Brigid’s Cabinteely and in Foxrock Church. Ashes will also be left on a table throughout the day so that you can put the ashes on your forehead yourself. There are also masses in the Oratory at Cornalscourt at 11.30 AM and 4 PM and in Foxrock Church at 6 PM.
