Feast of St Begnet, Dalkey: Celebrate the Feast of St Begnet, Patron Saint of Dalkey with a series of events in the parish this weekend 10 and 11 November. On Saturday, walk the ancient route of St Begnet and pilgrimage with Liz Murray on a guided walk from Killiney Dart Station at 11am to Coliemore Harbour in Dalkey (2hrs). Please pre-register by emailing [email protected] or call 01 2859418. An ‘Art with St Begnet’ workshop takes place in St Patricks Church at 2pm. Public talks in Dalkey Church at 7.30pm: ‘Accessing the divine feminine wisdom of Dalkey landscape (Liz Murray) and ‘Saints in Bergen and saints in Dublin with Prof Edel Breathnach. On Sunday 11 November at 1.15pm our ecumenical service in St Begnets old church/graveyard and prayer and meditation from 3- 5pm at St Begnets Icon, Dalkey Church and from 5-6pm our viola concert with Bogdan Rusin.
