The Park Mass Centre
Parishioners are probably aware that I have been asked to look after Foxrock Parish as well as Cabinteely Parish. Under the current circumstances it is not possible to continue to keep the 11.15 AM mass in the Park Mass Centre. The ‘Do This in Memory of Me’ Sundays (about 8 of them: a parish based programme preparing children for First Holy Communion) will move to the 6.30 PM Saturday Evening mass in St Brigid’s Church Cabinteely. I have no doubt that the presence & participation of these young families in St Brigid’s will be a great gift to our mass celebration & our faith community. I am also conscious that the Park Mass Centre has been in use during school term for over 30 years. I would like to express my deep appreciation for all the people who have been part of the Park Mass Centre over so many years. In particular I would like to thank Brian Moore, volunteer sacristan there, for many years. In order to acknowledge the role of the Park Mass Centre with gratitude, we would like to have a mass of thanksgiving on a Sunday to be arranged over the next few months.
There is a Family Mass each Sunday at 10 AM in Foxrock Church.
